One of my favourite chats so far has been with the team behind the phenomenon that is the Spartan Race, and their Spartanup! Podcast.
Joe De Sena, founder of Spartan Race, has built an incredible community around the world of people of all shapes, sizes, builds, athletic backgrounds and experience who take part in these obstacle races on a regular basis – with a philosophy of getting people off their couches and into physicality by providing them with the challenge of completing a Spartan Race.
I had a great time coaching on the Spartan Cruise to the Bahamas, taking part in the race there and chatting to Joe and Delle – the Spartanup! international correspondent – about parkour, fear, the concept of grit and seeking adversity and more.
